Personal Biography:

Probir Karmakar is a qualified Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive clinical experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of communication and swallowing disorders. He holds Bachelor’s (2002–2007) and Master’s (2009–2011) degrees from AYJNIHH (ERC) under the University of Calcutta and the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). He has served as a Consultant at leading healthcare institutions, including KPC Medical College & Hospital, Ruby General Hospital, and Belle Vue Clinic. With advanced training in Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), he delivers evidence-based, family-centred and outcome-oriented care across pediatric and adult populations.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) from AYJNIHH (ERC), University of Calcutta in 2007.
  • Master’s Degree in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP) from AYJNIHH (ERC), West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) in 2011.
