As on date it takes only about 300 words to help clinicians predict the probability of psychosis in a user.
Scientists are also now working to develop a similar technology to treat people suffering from Autism. Cognitive computers right now are able to analyze a patient’s speech or written words. With it they look for tell-tale indicators found in language, including meaning, syntax and intonation. They can combine the results of these measurements with those from wearable devices and imaging systems. These are collected in a secure network and can paint a clearer picture of the individual for health professionals to better identify understand the problem for the underlying disease. They would thereafter be able to treat the problem of stuttering or any kind of speech related disorders in a much more comprehensive manner.
With this new technology experts in the field will be able to better understand how the treatment or therapy for language disorder is working and there after bring in changes when and where required.
